PART TWO: Complete in writing offline.
- Mr. Dawursk has additional questions which you will submit in writing in class only. See him if you did not get the evaluation form.
1)For the sports questions I used some of my own sports knowledge and also asked my dad and looked online for help on answers to make sure I got the same thing as what the internet was saying. I went to Google if I would search anything on the internet just to see what they had to see or give me some sort of idea to start from.
ReplyDelete2) The easiest questions for me were definitely the sports ones because I am a huge sports person so I knew were to start for the 3 sports questions. Hardest question for me was one of the wizard of Oz questions because I don't know much about the movie and I could not find out what was in common with it.
The sports questions for me were the hardest. I knew what I had to look up, however not with all of them. Because I don’t know too many things about sports, I hadn’t known exactly where to start looking, other than Google.
DeleteI also used google to help me. It also helped me get the idea too, but sometimes it was kind of hard to find the answer.
Delete#1) In the daily cyber search assignments, the type of research that I had used was that of my own background knowledge. I also used the search engine Google for some of the questions that I had researched. The final type of research that I had used was that I had asked another family member the question because I knew that this specific person may know the answer or someone who had.
ReplyDelete#2) The question that I felt was the most difficult was the question on the fifth day, which stated, “What was the name of the team who is regarded as one of the greatest minor-league teams of all time? In 1936, this team won 90 games in the regular season. This team also won eight American Association pennants and three Junior World Series during its 51 year history. Name the city and the name of the team.” The reason I thought this question was hardest was because I have no background knowledge on this, nor did my family member. Another reason I felt that this question was hardest was because when I searched the question, the answer did not appear immediately like I thought it would have. The question that I thought was the easiest was the question on the fifth day, which stated, “In 1891 this person set out to invent a game to occupy students between the football and baseball seasons. Who was he and what sport did he invent?” The reason I felt that this question was easiest because the phrase that I had entered into the search engine Google, had appeared with the answer on the first page.
I also thought that the question on the fifth day was easy because I did the same thing as you. On the other hand I spent like an hour on the question that you thought was the hardest and then I just guessed.

1. For the cyber search assignments I mostly used Google to find all the answers. There were some answers that I had asked my sister about because it seemed like she had more background knowledge on it more than me. When I type in the question to Google, I type in bits and pieces of them and I double check it by opening up another tab to type in the question in a different way to see if I would get a different answer.
ReplyDelete2. I thought the hardest questions was the week for culture. That time we did not have any kind of imagery at all and plus I do not have a lot of background in it. The easiest was the one about Justin Bieber's monkey. This time it had a picture and I typed in the question on to Google then I clicked on image and the same pictured popped up and when I clicked on the picture, the answer was there.
I also used google. I found it to be very useful at times. I to took bits and peices from the qustion amd plugged them in google. Maico Navejar
DeleteAs you used google for your answers, I also used google to find my answers. Some of the questions got hard so I asked my dad. Like how you asked your sister. I agree with you that the easiest question was about Justin Biebers monkey.

ReplyDelete1. During the cybersearch I used the internet. For each question I would pull out and rephrase words that I could type in the internet. Doing that would help me be more sepcific and accurate in my research. When something popped up, I always looked for information that included what the question wanted
ReplyDelete2. I think that the hardest question for me was " What technology guru made a significant mistake with a asian handshake? What is the full name of his foundation" ? It was hard for me because I couldn't think of anyone at the top of my head. Also I couldn't really type much in google to get an answer. It was a weird qustion to find for me to. Maico Navejar
1. While doing the cyber search i used the internet and the knowledge i knew from learning in my past classes. i Read the questions carefully and i picked out words that i didn't know or stood out to me that would maybe connect me to the subject , for example : i looked for certain names , certain events , and the date .
ReplyDelete2. The hardest questions for me was "an African American helped develop peace between the Arabs and the Israelites in the late 1940’s.This person was awarded an international peace award. What was this person’s name?" it was the hardest for me because i dident have any knowledge of that and i searched and searched , it took me at least 15 minutes to find an anwer that i thought was right.

1. During the cybersearch assignment I used the Internet to help me find me questions. First I would look at the questions then I would copy and paste the question on google to see if I could get the answer right away, but most of the time I needed to re- word or change the question
ReplyDelete2. The hardest question for me was "how much does a mountain lose every 1000 years". It was hard because I found more then one answer for it and I found one that said it grew so i didn't know if it was a trick question. The easiest question was "where is Olympus mons volcano located" which was easy because I just searched the question and found it right away.

ReplyDelete1) For the cybersearch questions, I typed in parts of the question into google.com. As I was getting information from websites, I would make sure the answers were right by checking other websites.Only if they were accredited websites. As soon as something hard came up, I would ask my parents about it to see if they knew the answer. Although, I tryed my best with finding the answers to these cybersearch questions, I never gave up. As you read I used google. Which means I mostly used the internet for the answers.
ReplyDelete2) The questions that were difficult. Which are the questions from day six. I didnt know much about those. The internet would always give me different answers. But i got the answers by checking over and over again. Therefore the easier questions were the questions that were for day one. Day one was easy because of how those questions connected to stuff in the daily life. The cybersearch was fun, although hard. I couldnt ignore it since its a big grade. I tryed my best.
