  1. Matt Doeden, Play football like a pro.

    Football

How to make a tackle when you play football

The author is not an expert, he did not play professional football, he is only a sports illustrated writer.

The book is three years old, so it does not have new information, but it does have recent enough facts about the basics of the sport.

There were no pictures or diagrams.

It is a convienent book for begginers of the sport, and the book does have a index and a table of contents, they were of good use.

The book does cover the basics of the sport and the sport was very easy to understand.

I selected this book because I love playing football and enjoy the sport and i thought it would be intersesting to read about other information of the sport that i did not know.

    1. I don't know anything about football would it help me understand everything a lot better? and would it help someone like me understand the book a lot better if the book had pictures and diagrams?

    2. Today it's all about using these special drugs. Most people get caught doing these drugs and I also agree that pictures should be shown in the book for a better understanding.

  2. Ric blackshaw and Liz farrelly, the street book

    Graffiti art

It tells you what caps are good and how the paint comes out the different caps

Both of the authors are experts on graffiti art. I don't think the date is recent enough, it says the books copyright is 2008. But it would be a great resource to learn things from.there are lots of pictures showing art and they are very helpful for graffiti artists it has a index and table of contents, it also has headings and some vocabulary words. The book cover has graffiti art on it so I think most people would understand it when it says street art book.

I would give it 3 out of 5

    2. Doctor

3.On Becoming a Doctor calmly and thoroughly walks you through each academic, physical, and emotional step you'll take on your way to a successful career in medicine, and it includes interviews with many different specialists to help you choose a medical path.

    4. The information given in the book was Copyright 2009, so it had recent information. The author, Tania Heller, is a “M.D.” or medical doctor. There are many charts in the book including statistics and percentages. The book is a very useful tool to use when researching your dream career. It is neatly organized by certain categories. The book covered the topic fully and the information was easy to understand. The book is written to draw you in with silly jokes and puns so you will continue to read the book. It accurately showed the steps and results into becoming a doctor. What made me want to pick this book out as a resource is that I am very interested into entering the medical world. I wanted to be more optimistic and see what different careers in the health field are out there. A doctor was always my top choice so I wanted to educate myself even further and read this book.

  10. Opportunities in Engineering Careers by Nicholas Basta

    Engineering

"Engineering is the profession in which a knowledge of the mathematical and natural sciences gained by study, experience and practice is applied with judgment to develop ways to utilize the materials and forces of nature, economically for benefit of mankind."

The author of this book, Nicholas Basta, is a professor at Ohio State University in the school of environment and natural resources. Since engineering has to do with the environment and natural resources I would say he is an expert. This book does not give you recent information on engineering because it was copyrighted in 1996. There are some graphs to show how many people they have gained in the field of engineering. The graphs are sort of a help in understanding the topic. This book did cover the entire topic. It talks about every different kind of engineering and what you should do to become an engineer. The information is easy to understand there may be a few words every once in a while that you might not get. I picked this book because engineering is one of my three jobs that I would like to do when I get older. So I thought this book will help me decide what to do.

I give this book 3 out of 5 computers.

  11. Sweet serendipity

    Stephan Bruce

The author is an expert on the topic. The copy right date is not too recent but not to old either. The book does include pictures and they are very helpful because it gives you a visual representation on what the outcome should be. The book does not cover the topic fully because there are so many more recipes that aren’t included in this book. The reason for my selection of this book would have to be the reason that I love to eat desserts and I should really start making them for myself.

the overall rating i would give this book would be 5 delicious cookies with a hersheys on top out of 6!
